Heroes YouTube video commentary

I wanted to write commentary for a YouTube video I'm in the process of editing. I'm pretty much done other than the commentary. The video is Heroes of the storm gameplay. I'm going to use either classical Italian Baroque composer Albioni's Adagio in G minor or jazz saxophonist John Coltrane's Giant Steps for music.

Anyways, this is a Heroes of the gameplay compilation from one of my sessions. Heroes is the best moba (aka massive online battle arena) game I've ever played. I've tried League, Dota, Heroes of Newerth, Smite, and a plethora of others but I didn't understand or like mobas until I played Heroes. A lot. I've got something like 1500 games played and I know a thing or two about the game.

What's so great about Heroes and why would anyone play it over League you ask? Heroes doesn't have items, levels are shared, and the maps are based on objectives as opposed to who can get fed and destroy towers faster. Simplicity is king in video games if you ask me and Heroes excels at doing everything in a simple self-explanatory manner. It also helps that the characters are all Blizzard's heroes and villains in one big mash-up. It's like the Super smash brothers of Blizzard. It's awesome. Plus this game is great with friends.

However, even great games like this have its flaws. The game suffers from server and lag issues. I've disconnected many times playing this game compared to other games where I've never dc'd. In addition, Ranked solo que has many problems. A lot of times players will disconnect and you'll lose the game because of it. Another factor to keep in mind is the game's toxic community. Once one person starts getting out of line, the whole team starts to fall apart and suffer. Another thing to keep in mind is that nobody plays healers in Quick Match-so yeah.....enjoy never getting healed in that mode.

So yeah, its a great game. I enjoy mainly playing supports but I can go further beyond (thumbs up if you caught that reference) and rack up tons of kills playing assassins. My favorite characters are Rehgar, Tyrande, Malfurion, Sylvannas, and Morales. Enjoy the gameplay! If you like what you see hit that thumbs up button. Or if you're feeling it leave a comment.
